Joaquin Camacho

Dr. Joaquin Camacho is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at San Diego State University's College of Engineering. His research focuses on combustion science, nanoparticle synthesis, and soot formation dynamics. He leads the Energy FANS Lab, investigating flame chemistry, carbon nanostructure development, and high-temperature material transformations.
