Joao Pombo

Joao Pombo serves as Professor of Railway Technology at the Institute of Railway Research, University of Huddersfield, UK. He holds dual appointments in the Department of Engineering within the School of Computing and Engineering. With a PhD and Post-Doc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lisbon, Portugal, he brings over 24 years of specialized experience in railway engineering and technology.
