Joanne Webster is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Education, Childhood and Inclusion at Sheffield Hallam University, specializing in English for Academic Purposes (EAP). With over 25 years of international teaching experience across Poland, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Qatar, and China, she has served as a University of Cambridge English language examiner.
Her research examines technology-enhanced language learning, language testing methodologies, and second language acquisition processes. Recent publications analyze scaffolding techniques in EAP instruction and teacher-student discourse patterns. Webster teaches across EAP programs and supervises distance learning projects.
