Joanne Sneddon is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the UWA Business School and Co-Director of the UWA Centre for Human and Cultural Values. She holds a PhD from UWA (2009), focusing on technology adoption in the Australian wool industry. Her research explores human values, their measurement, and influence on consumer and pro-social behavior. She teaches Marketing Principles in the UWA MBA program and advises non-profits on fundraising strategies.
Research interests include refined value measurement tools (e.g., BWVr and AVI), animal welfare values, and behavioral outcomes in adults and children. Current projects involve social advocacy, environmental learning in zoos, and non-human entity values. She has secured over $343,000 in external and internal grants, including ARC funding.
