Allison Ricket

Allison Ricket is an Assistant Research Professor and Director of Analytics, Impact Measurement, and Management at Ohio University's Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service. She specializes in Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis and advises social enterprises, nonprofits, and policymakers on maximizing social, environmental, and economic impact. Her work includes projects with Rural Action, Habitat for Humanity, and the City of Columbus Small Business Recovery Fund.

Research Focus: Dr. Ricket investigates asset-based rural community development, social entrepreneurial ecosystems, and holistic approaches to measuring community well-being. She emphasizes data-driven strategies to strengthen community ecosystems through systems thinking.

Grants & Leadership: Led ARC POWER grants with ecosystem partners and expanded Community and Career Connected Learning across Appalachia as Director of BB2C's Business Engagement initiative. Dual-role included educator training and organizational scaling strategies.

Advocacy: Leads Social Value US Body of Knowledge advocacy to standardize impact measurement practices nationally.
