Joanne David

Joanne David is a British-Swiss academic affiliated with the Department of Education and Learning and the Higher School of Pedagogy at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) and Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) in Switzerland. She has served as an Adjunct Professor and Tutor of English at Franklin (American University), CH, since 2001, and as an English Language instructor at USI-SUPSI since 2004.

Her research and professional interests focus on English language instruction for academic and specialized purposes, including preparation for international language exams such as B1/B2, TOEFL, and Cambridge exams (PET/FCE/ACE/BEC Vantage-Higher). She has extensive experience teaching diverse student populations, from children to adults, in monolingual and multilingual contexts across the UK, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa, and Namibia.

Joanne David is also engaged in ESL/TEFL workshops and seminars at institutions including Hilderstone College, Christ Church College, Cape Town University, and SUPSI.
