Joanne Conover

Joanne Conover is a Professor in the Department of Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Connecticut (UConn). Her research focuses on neural stem cell biology, neurodegenerative diseases, and developmental disorders such as Hydrocephalus. She leads the Conover Laboratory, which investigates neural stem cell distribution, maintenance, and function in the brain, alongside applications in regenerative medicine.

Research interests include neuroepithelial stem cell lineage tracking, CSF fluid dynamics, and aging-related brain repair mechanisms.
