Dr Joanna Tucker is a Lecturer in History at the University of Glasgow, College of Arts. Her work focuses on medieval manuscript studies, particularly scribe-centric approaches to cartulary manuscripts, and she has published extensively on the survival and digitization of medieval Scottish documents.
Her research interests include:
- Medieval manuscript analysis
- Cartulary compilation and digital archiving
- Scottish history (12th–13th centuries)
- Textual editing and digital humanities
- Onomastics in medieval documents
