Joana Moll

Joana Moll is an artist and researcher currently serving as a Visiting Professor in the Networks department at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Her work critically examines techno-capitalist narratives and their impact on technology, society, and ecosystems.

Her research focuses on internet materiality, surveillance, social profiling, and energy consumption in digital systems. Her work has been featured at institutions like the Venice Biennale, Ars Electronica, and museums in Berlin, Barcelona, and New York.

She is currently a fellow at the Disruption Network Lab Institute in Berlin, and her projects have been covered by international media outlets including The New York Times, Wired, and National Geographic.
