Joana Inês Silva De Lima is an Associate Professor at the University of Évora and serves as a Full Researcher at CIDEHUS (University of Évora) and Researcher at GOVCOPP (University of Aveiro). She holds a PhD in Tourism from the University of Aveiro, a Master’s in Tourism Management and Development from the same institution, and a Degree in Economics from the University of Coimbra.
Her research focuses on tourism impacts, family tourism, social tourism, tourist experiences, and rural tourism development. Key projects include work on UNESCO heritage site tourism, sustainable tourism observatories (ASTO), and social innovation in tourism access for low-income families.
