Joan Frese

Joan Frese, an Adjunct Professor at Fresno Pacific University (FPU), has dedicated over 30 years to teaching technology, including 21 years full-time and 7 years adjunct at Fresno City College. She holds a PhD in Computer Technology from Nova Southeastern University, an MA in Curriculum and Technology from Chapman University, and a BS in Business Education from the University of Wisconsin, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Her scholarly interests span advancements in computer technology and genealogy. In 2020, she authored a technology book and a genealogy book for her grandchildren. Joan is actively engaged in mission work with Students International, participating in trips to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. She values family, faith, and time with her 50-year marriage to Rod, their four children, and twelve grandchildren.
