Jo Burgess Barbier is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Colorado State University (CSU) and affiliated with the School of Global Environmental Sustainability (SoGES). Her research focuses on environmental and natural resource economics, including forest land use, wildlife management, trade-environment linkages, and sustainability. Dr. Barbier has authored over 45 peer-reviewed publications, five books, and has been a consultant for UN agencies, the World Bank, and the OECD. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University College London (2000).
