Dr Jixin Yang is a Senior Lecturer in Materials Chemistry at Wrexham University, actively engaged in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research. He previously held postdoctoral positions at the University of Nottingham and has been with Wrexham University since 2009, earning promotions in 2011 and 2022.

Dr Yang’s research focuses on materials chemistry and materials science, with over 50 peer-reviewed publications and 1,400+ citations. Key subfields include inorganic chemistry, solid-state chemistry, nanotechnology, and applied chemistry.
