Jishnu Das

Jishnu Das is a Professor at the McCourt School of Public Policy and the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. His research spans health and education systems in low- and middle-income countries, with significant contributions to quality assessment, policy design, and large-scale program evaluation.

Das co-developed the LEAPS project, a 20-year cohort study on education outcomes in low-income settings. His healthcare work includes audit studies on provider quality in India and policy frameworks for health insurance in global contexts. Recent publications focus on financial interventions for private schools, regulatory reforms in health markets, and equilibrium effects of public education spending.
