Jinseok P. Kim is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Psychology at the School of Psychology, University of Sussex. He received his B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine, and M.A./Ph.D. in Psychology from Yonsei University under Prof. Eunkook M. Suh.

His research focuses on evolutionary and socio-ecological influences on cultural variations in subjective well-being, examining differences in happiness definitions, predictors, and pursuit strategies. Key interests include:

- Social approval vs. internal experiences
He contributes to the HONORLOGIC project with Dr. Shuxian Jin and Stephanie Gunaratne on Work Package 2 (Compromise). His three recent publications demonstrate interdisciplinary approaches combining evolutionary theory with cultural psychology.
