Jinjing Liu is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Moravian University's School of Business & Economics. She holds a B.Sc. from Anhui University, an M.A. from the University of Science and Technology of China, and a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from McGill University. Her research focuses on asset pricing, risk management, banking, and corporate governance, with notable work on supply chain finance, pandemic impacts on financial systems, and bank resilience during crises.
Dr. Liu teaches courses in managerial finance, investments, behavioral finance, and advanced managerial finance. Her research has been published in journals like Journal of Financial Econometrics and International Review of Financial Analysis, and she has contributed to World Bank policy research. Her work bridges theoretical finance with practical applications, particularly in analyzing systemic risks and corporate governance challenges.
Her recent articles explore topics ranging from the effects of preschool TV exposure on mental health in China to the economic policy uncertainties affecting capital costs. This interdisciplinary approach underscores her commitment to addressing contemporary economic challenges through rigorous empirical analysis.
