Jinghai Rao

Jinghai Rao is a Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer and Information Science within the Institute for Software Research International. His work focuses on semantic web services, security policies, and logic-based programming. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and has Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Renmin University of China.

His research emphasizes web service composition, policy enforcement, and automated reasoning. Notable contributions include the use of linear logic for service composition and frameworks for interleaving policy reasoning with service discovery.
