Jingchen Hu is an Associate Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at Vassar College, where she has been since 2015. She holds a BS in Computing Mathematics from City University of Hong Kong and a PhD in Statistics from Duke University. Her research focuses on Bayesian statistical methodology, particularly in addressing missing data in surveys and generating synthetic datasets for privacy-protected public release. She has led collaborative projects on advancing Bayesian thinking in STEM education and privacy-preserving data synthesis.
Education: BS in Computing Mathematics (City University of Hong Kong), MS and PhD in Statistics (Duke University).
