Jing Zhang

Jing Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Colorado Denver Business School. She holds a PhD in Accounting from McGill University, an MS in Finance from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a BS in Marketing from Shanghai Finance University. Her research examines earnings management, audit quality, corporate governance, and capital market utilization of accounting information.

Her publications explore auditor independence, financial misreporting mechanisms, regulatory impacts on financial disclosures, and cross-border banking risks. Research trends show consistent focus on audit quality determinants, regulatory compliance, and market reactions to financial reporting practices.
