Jin W. Choi is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan Technological University's College of Engineering, having previously held the Mark and Carolyn Guidry Professorship at Louisiana State University where he served as ABET coordinator and graduate program advisor.

His research centers on BioMEMS, Biosensors, Microfluidics, and Flexible Electronics for biomedical applications. Recent publications demonstrate expertise in PCB-based electrochemical sensors, portable fluorescence systems, and impedimetric probes with applications spanning cryobiology, environmental monitoring, and healthcare diagnostics.
