Dr. Jimmy Wangdi is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, affiliated with the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences and the Department of Sport and Health Sciences. He works within the Applied Physiology, Nutrition and Metabolism research group.

- BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science (2013-2016), University of Exeter
His research focuses on nutritional interventions for health, muscle recovery, and exercise performance. Current work explores mitochondrial substrate supplements for enhancing exercise capacity and cognitive function. Previous PhD research investigated Montmorency tart cherry supplementation effects on athletic performance and recovery.
Collaborating with Professor Joanna Bowtell, Associate Professor Vincent Kelly, and Dr. Mary O'Leary, Dr. Wangdi's work bridges sports science, nutrition, and physiology through both academic and applied research frameworks.
