Jimmy O’Gorman is a Senior Lecturer in Sports Development, Management, and Coaching at Edge Hill University’s Department of Sport and Physical Activity. He teaches on undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including the MSc Sport, Physical Activity, and Mental Health. A practicing academy football coach, he holds UEFA B, FA Youth Award, Futsal, and talent identification qualifications.

He co-led a project evaluating the PG Certificate in Coach Development for the Football Association (2017–2018).
