Jim Wicks is a Clinical Professor at the Segal Design Institute and Director of the Master of Science in Product Design and Development Management (mpd²) program at Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering. He has over 25 years of experience in consumer product innovation, spanning leadership roles at Sony and Motorola, where he led groundbreaking projects like the Moto 360, DROID, RAZR, and Moto Mods. His research and teaching focus on integrating design innovation with strategic business goals.
Education: B.A. in Design from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; M.A. in Design from Nihon University, Japan.
