Jim MacPherson

Dr. Jim MacPherson is a Reader in History and Postgraduate Research Co-ordinator at the Centre for History, University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). His research focuses on empire, diaspora, migration, and decolonization, particularly in the context of Scotland's Highland communities. He collaborates closely with museums like the Clan Macpherson Museum and Historylinks, emphasizing community-led research to explore imperial legacies.
