Jill B. Delston is an Assistant Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, College of Arts and Sciences. She joined the university in 2012 after serving as a visiting assistant professor at Mount Holyoke College.
Education: She earned a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College (Annapolis, MD), followed by an M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis.
Research Focus: Her work spans normative/applied ethics, social/political philosophy, feminism, and ancient Greek philosophy. She addresses health inequities through bioethics research and contributes to the University of Missouri System NextGen Precision Health Initiative. Her publications include the monograph Medical Sexism: Contraception Access, Reproductive Medicine, and Health Care (2019) and co-editorship of the textbook Applied Ethics: A Multicultural Approach (Editions 5–7 forthcoming).

Leadership: As Director of Graduate Studies, she oversees philosophy graduate programs and advises students.
