Professor Jifeng Liu is a Professor of Engineering and Program Area Lead for Materials Science & Engineering at Dartmouth College's Thayer School of Engineering. He holds a BS/MS from Tsinghua University and a PhD from MIT's Materials Science department. His research focuses on optoelectronic materials, nanophotonics for energy-efficient IT, and advanced semiconductor devices. Notable contributions include GeSn alloys for mid-infrared photodetectors and integrated photonics systems.
