Jie Zheng

Jie Zheng is a Researcher at Boston Children's Hospital, where she is undergoing postdoctoral training under the supervision of Dr. Gabriel Kreiman. Her work focuses on understanding the neural mechanisms underlying emotional and episodic memory through the analysis of intracranial recordings and computational modeling.

Jie Zheng holds an MSc and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine. Her doctoral research explored the neural dynamics of emotional memory processing in humans using intracranial recordings of local field potentials.

Her research interests include neural dynamics, emotional memory, computational neuroscience, neurophysiology, cognitive neuroscience, and the study of memory formation and retrieval. By integrating data from human single-unit recordings with computational models, she aims to bridge the gap between biological and artificial memory systems.
