Jian Kang

Jian Kang is a Professor at The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, University College London, UK. He has held academic positions at the School of Architecture, University of Sheffield (1999-2018), Senior Research Associate and Research Fellow roles at Wolfson College and The Martin Centre, University of Cambridge, and research positions at Fraunhofer-Institute of Building Physics in Germany.

Research Interests: Spanning building acoustics, architectural acoustics, soundscape design, and environmental acoustics. His work bridges theoretical and applied research in urban and architectural sound environments.
