Jialan Wang

Jialan Wang is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's Gies College of Business, with a concurrent role as a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Her research focuses on household finance, fintech, entrepreneurship, behavioral economics, and real estate, with notable contributions to understanding consumer credit markets, bankruptcy reform, and financial policy. She holds a PhD in Financial Economics from MIT Sloan and a BS in Mathematics from Caltech.
