Dr. Jiabin Zhang is a Research Fellow in Prof. Nicolas Voelcker's group at Monash University's Department of Materials Science & Engineering, affiliated with the Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication. His current research focuses on 3D printing of micro-actuators for regulating stem cell fate at single-cell resolution, with prior work on liver organoids and 3D printing for acute liver failure treatment. He holds a PhD from The University of Adelaide (2019), and master's and bachelor's degrees in biomedical engineering from the University of Dundee and Tianjin Medical University, respectively.
