معرفی
Dr. Jia Pei Lim is a postdoctoral researcher at the South Australian Immunogenomics Cancer Institute (SAiGENCI), University of Adelaide, within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, where she is eligible to supervise Masters and PhD students as a co-supervisor and conducts high-impact research across international institutions.
Her educational background includes a PhD in Cancer Biology from the National University of Singapore, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Karolinska Institutet.
Dr. Lim's research focuses on cancer epigenetics and 3D chromatin biology, investigating how histone methyltransferases and chromatin-modifying complexes drive tumorigenesis. Her work explores epigenetic mechanisms with therapeutic potential for cancer treatment, emphasizing structural and functional dynamics of chromatin organization in disease contexts.
She actively contributes to the scientific community through presentations at premier conferences including Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL), European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), while maintaining collaborative projects with RIKEN and A*STAR institutes.
At SAiGENCI, Dr. Lim serves on the Early Career Researcher (ECR) Committee and works under Dr. Qi Zhang's supervision within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to immuno-genomics and cancer biology research.
