JiJi Fan is an Associate Professor of Physics at Brown University, specializing in beyond Standard Model theories such as dark matter models, supersymmetry, Higgs phenomenology, and cosmological probes of particle physics. Her work bridges elementary particle physics, astrophysics, and cosmology, combining theoretical model building with numerical data analyses.
- PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics, Yale University (2009)
- BS in Physics, University of Science and Technology of China (2004)
Her research focuses on constructing novel dark matter models, exploring early universe probes of fundamental particle physics, and analyzing the Higgs boson's properties to uncover new physics at collider experiments. She has taught courses ranging from Advanced Classical Mechanics (PHYS 0500) to Quantum Theory of Fields II (PHYS 2320), covering foundational and advanced topics in physics.
