Jesús Morente López

Jesús Morente López is an academic and clinician affiliated with the School of Nursing and Physiotherapy at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas. He holds a Bachelor's in Nursing from the same institution (2000), a Master's in Educational Innovation and Research from UNED, and is pursuing a PhD in Education. His academic roles include teaching courses on Drug Addiction, Health Education, Primary Care Nursing, and Professional Leadership, while also serving as a thesis tutor. He is a collaborator in the Hospital Universitario La Paz’s R+D+i Unit and a member of the IdiPAZ Research Group in Nursing Care.

His research focuses on drug addiction prevention in youth/high-risk groups, healthcare ICT applications, and community health participation. Professionally, he has worked in primary care, intensive care units, and nuclear medicine since 2000. He collaborates with the Fundación de Ayuda contra la Drogadicción (FAD) in social mediator training and advises the National and International Association of School Nursing.

He maintains digital educational initiatives including the Facebook group ‘Yo también leo Enfermería Basada en la Evidencia,’ a YouTube channel, and Twitter profile. His professional activities also include content management for health education platforms and roles in Madrid’s regional health policies through the Health Council.
