معرفی
Jesús Justo Estebaranz is a Professor in the Department of Continuous Mechanics and Structural Theory at the Higher Technical School of Engineering, University of Seville. His research focuses on advanced composite materials and structural mechanics, with particular expertise in fracture analysis, additive manufacturing applications, and aeronautical structures.
Research Interests: Prof. Estebaranz leads investigations in composite material behavior under mechanical stress, specializing in damage mechanisms and failure prediction. His work spans experimental characterization of composite-concrete joints, 3D printed composites, and optimization of fiber-reinforced materials. Recent studies explore ultrasonic compaction techniques and interface behavior in multimaterial systems.
Educational Contributions: Teaches courses including Numerical and Experimental Analysis of Structural Materials, Elasticity and Strength of Materials, Aeroelasticity, and Composite Mechanics. Developed pedagogical approaches integrating research into engineering education through cooperative learning models.
Research Leadership: Principal investigator for multiple projects including ACTIVE (PI-1754/13/2017), FACTORIA_TEAMS (PI-1686/13/2017), and SEAMAR (PI-1031/2012), focusing on composite development for aerospace applications. Leads the Elasticity and Strength of Materials Research Group (GERM), collaborating on national and European initiatives.
