Jesus Gomez-Velez

Jesus Gomez-Velez is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Vanderbilt University. His research integrates numerical modeling, data science, and field observations to study water, solute, and energy movement in landscapes and river systems, with a focus on surface water-groundwater interactions across multiple scales.

Before Vanderbilt, he served as an Assistant Professor at New Mexico Tech (2015-2018) and a USGS National Research Program postdoctoral fellow (2013-2015).
