Jessie Vipham is an Assistant Professor in Food Safety and Food Security at Kansas State University (KSU), affiliated with the Department of Animal Sciences and Industry within the College of Agriculture. Her research focuses on enhancing global understanding of food safety and foodborne diseases, particularly their impact on vulnerable populations, and developing actionable solutions to reduce pathogen contamination across international food value-chains. She has conducted research in the U.S., Central/South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
Education: B.S. in Agricultural Business (KSU, 2009), M.S. in Meat Science (Texas Tech University, 2011), and Ph.D. in Animal Science (Texas Tech University, 2015).
