Jessie Lofton

Jessie Lofton is Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Evansville. Her research centers on heat transfer enhancement, metal foam applications in thermal systems, and heat exchanger optimization. She holds a Ph.D. from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with graduate certificates in teaching innovation.

Lofton's experimental work analyzes simultaneous heat/mass transfer in wetted exchangers and metal foam thermal performance. She advises engineering student organizations and develops active learning approaches for thermodynamics education.
