Jessie Lenson

Jessie Lenson serves as a Visiting Fellow at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University, and concurrently as General Manager of Social Impact at Lendlease Australia. In her corporate role, she leads a large national team of social practitioners and oversees Social Impact strategy across Development, Construction, and Investment Management portfolios.

With over 20 years of cross-sector experience spanning the UK and Australia, her expertise centers on Social Impact, Community Development, and Urban Regeneration. She is a passionate advocate for social inclusion, diversity, wellbeing, and equity—driven by a commitment to creating positive social outcomes through community and business engagement. Her career originated in UK social housing, encompassing direct service provision (homelessness support, housing management) and policy research.

At Lendlease, she has established new teams and collaborated with senior executives across financial, charity, social, and private sectors. Her work integrates community development principles into corporate strategy, emphasizing measurable social outcomes through structured engagement frameworks and regeneration initiatives.
