Jessie Hill is a Professor of Law at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she serves as the Judge Ben C. Green Professor of Law and Director of the Reproductive Rights Law Initiative. Her work focuses on constitutional law, civil rights, reproductive rights, and law and religion, with a strong emphasis on litigation and advocacy in Ohio.

Her research examines constitutional challenges to abortion restrictions, the intersection of religious freedom and reproductive healthcare, and privacy rights in medical decision-making. Recent publications analyze the impact of Dobbs v. Jackson, telemedicine abortion barriers, and judicial formalism in reproductive litigation.
Notable awards include the 2023 Champion for Women Award, Nootbaar Fellowship, and ACLU recognition. She joined the faculty in 2003 after practicing civil rights law and working with the National ACLU, with clerkship experience at the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
