Jessica Williams

Dr. Jessica Williams is an Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Her research examines organizational and policy impacts on health equity, with expertise in occupational health, health economics, and community health interventions. She has led multiple studies on workplace safety, healthcare access, and economic evaluations of health programs.

Her research explores workplace organizational impacts on health behaviors, occupational injury consequences, economic analyses of community health initiatives, and public understanding of healthcare policies. She maintains strong community partnerships to translate research into practice.

Research integrates workplace safety assessments, healthcare cost analyses, and community-based interventions. Methodological approaches include mixed-methods designs, cohort studies, and implementation science frameworks.

She founded the Community Health Worker evaluation initiative and contributes to national occupational health research networks.
