معرفی
Jessica White is a Research Fellow at the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences at Queen's University Belfast. She is affiliated with the Wellcome Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine, focusing on neuroscience and immunology research related to regenerative medicine and central nervous system disorders.
Her research activity revolves around Neuroscience, Immunology, and Biomedical Research, with particular emphasis on T cell dynamics, remyelination processes, and oligodendrocyte biology. This work addresses critical challenges in understanding neurodegenerative and demyelinating diseases.
In 2024, she co-authored a seminal article in Nature Communications titled 'Ageing impairs the regenerative capacity of regulatory T cells in mouse central nervous system remyelination'. This study highlights age-related declines in T cell-mediated regeneration and has implications for therapeutic interventions in neurological disorders.
Jessica's laboratory work is conducted at the Wellcome Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine, where she contributes to collaborative research networks focusing on neuro-immunological mechanisms and regenerative therapies.
