Jessica Weeks is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Associate Director for Academics at Ohio University's Center for Consumer Research & Analytics (CRA). She also serves as Assistant Director of the Copeland Scholars Honors Program. Her research focuses on consumer-based marketing strategy, social shopping dynamics, and firm-consumer curation. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia, an M.S. from the University of Alabama, and a B.S. from Samford University.
Dr. Weeks has presented at leading conferences such as the Academy of Marketing Science and Society for Marketing Advances. Her work has been published in journals like Journal of Business Research and International Business Review. She received awards including the 2018 University of Georgia Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award and AMA-Sheth Doctoral Consortium Fellowship.
Her research explores topics such as consumer-to-consumer online bartering, algorithmic bias in digital curation, and luxury packaging post-purchase journeys. She advises the Copeland Scholars program and engages in educational initiatives like inclusive marketing education and student well-being interventions.
