Dr. Jessica Watterson is a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University's Action Lab (Faculty of Information Technology) and an adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences (Monash University Malaysia). Her work focuses on designing and evaluating digital health technologies for underserved populations, with a history of projects in diabetes management (Latinx communities), antenatal care in Samoa, immunization in India, and HIV care in Rwanda. Previously, she worked at IDEO, WHO, Oxfam, and Médecins Sans Frontières. She holds a PhD in Health Policy from UC Berkeley, an MPH from UC Berkeley, and a BA in Biochemistry from NYU.
