Dr. Jessica Shinn-Thomas is a Professor of Biology in the School of Arts & Sciences at Utica University. Her research focuses on cell-cell fusion mechanisms in the nematode C. elegans, specifically investigating molecular regulation of EFF-1 and AFF-1 fusion proteins through genetic, cellular, and microscopy techniques.
