Jessica L. Barnes

Jessica L. Barnes is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of History at Missouri State University (MSU), concurrently serving as a Social Studies Teacher at St. Clair Jr. High School in the St. Clair R-XIII school district. She holds a BSED in History (2006) and an MA in History (2010), both from MSU. Her professional focus spans K-12 and higher education, emphasizing innovative teaching methods across online, blended, and in-person formats.

Her career includes roles as Social Studies Department Chair at Hillcrest High School (Springfield Public Schools) and Learning and Development Manager at Roeslein & Associates.
