Jessica Gottlieb is an Associate Professor at the University of Houston's Hobby School of Public Affairs, where she conducts research and teaches on political economy, governance, and political behavior. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and an M.A. in Economics from Stanford University. Her work bridges sub-Saharan Africa and the United States, focusing on democratic performance and accountability.
