Jessica Frazier is a University Research Lecturer teaching Hindu Studies and Theories of Religion for the Theology and Religion Faculty, and Indian Philosophy for the Philosophy Faculty at the University of Oxford. Her research bridges classical Indian metaphysics (particularly Vedāntic Bhedābheda) and 20th-century German phenomenology, especially Gadamer's hermeneutic ontology. She translates Hindu philosophical concepts into global discussions on ethics, justice, and metaphysics.
Her work includes public engagement through the BBC's History of Ideas and contributions to the Engelsberg Foundation. Current projects examine ontological concepts of self, materiality, and divinity across cultures.
