Jessica Dunn is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Nottingham Trent University, part of the School of Social Sciences. She teaches on MSc Occupational Psychology and BSc Psychology programs, specializing in the intersection of work dynamics, stress management, and organizational development. Her research focuses on occupational health psychology, particularly in emergency services and automation-driven workplace changes.
Education includes a PhD in Applied Psychology from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Occupational Health Psychology from the same institution, and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of the West Indies, Mona. Her doctoral research examined stress biomarkers among frontline police officers.
Research interests emphasize the lived experiences of occupational groups like police personnel and emergency responders, exploring trauma exposure, gender dynamics, and coping mechanisms. She has also contributed to higher education quality assurance frameworks, publishing on institutional self-study processes and transnational accreditation.
