Dr. Jessica Damoiseaux is an Associate Professor at Wayne State University, affiliated with the Institute of Gerontology and Department of Psychology. She directs the Ben L. Silberstein Institute for Brain Health and investigates cognitive and brain health changes in aging and neurodegenerative disease.

Her research focuses on identifying risk factors for neurodegenerative disease, leveraging MRI to study brain networks, white matter integrity, and structural volumetrics. She explores blood-based biomarkers, genetics, and lifestyle interventions (yoga, exercise) to mitigate cognitive decline.
Recent publications (2024–2006) span neuroimaging, aging, Alzheimer's disease, and functional connectivity. Themes include subjective cognitive decline, brain network plasticity, biomarkers, prenatal influences, and multimodal data integration.
