Jessica Curtis

Jessica Curtis is a Lecturer in the BA (Hons) Costume for Performance program at the London College of Fashion. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in theatre, opera, film, and dance design, collaborating internationally including Scandinavia. Her recent works include Genesis inc. (Hampstead Theatre premiere), Uncle Vanya (Almeida Theatre), and productions at venues like the National Theatre and Royal Opera House.

Education: Trained at the Motley Theatre Design Course following studies in illustration at the University of Brighton.

Research interests focus on integrating costume and spatial design for performance, informed by her extensive design portfolio across live arts and immersive environments.

Teaching experience includes roles at Central School of Speech and Drama, RADA, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Trinity College of Music, Birkbeck, and RSMAD. She has also contributed to cultural projects like Storyhouse's opening season and Underbelly's bar interiors.

Current projects emphasize interdisciplinary collaboration, with recent work extending to open-air theatre (Grosvenor Park 2013-2016) and innovative stage adaptations.
